Military Matters

MMedit---FayOb-ad

Military Matters, a public affairs presentation of WFSS 91.9 FM,  is a monthly program linking our Fort Bragg neighbors and the surrounding community. This program has been on the hearts and minds of the radio station staff for many years. We have been waiting for just the right time and people to come together. This program is a joint effort with military and civilian volunteers to bring  programming that will be of interest to the military and civilian community alike. Special thanks to the 22nd Mobile Public Affairs Detachment and the 10th Press Camp Headquarters, as well as the many other Public Affairs soldiers on Ft. Bragg, NC, who contribute to Military Matters. Also, thanks to the many community volunteers.

April 24, 2015 Program:
Brig General Ferd Irazarry, Deputy Chief of Staff Operations with the US Army Reserve talks with us about the role and history of the Reserve as we recognize their 107th Birthday.

Charlotte Watson , Director of the Survivors Outreach Services at Fort Bragg discusses the functions and opportunities afforded through SOS for military families.

Month of the Military Child, Ricky Brayboy, Clare Edmonds and Zhanel Fogg , all children of military families, share their experiences and stories of growing up in the military.
