  Sheri Strickland, President of the North Carolina Association of Educators, shares some of her thoughts on the state-wide challenges ahead for educators and students.

Dr. Frank Till, Superintendent of Cumberland County Schools, elaborates on recent developments for the future of Fayetteville teachers, parents and children.

Dr. Terri Moore Brown, from the Dept. of Social Work at Fayetteville State University, explains the "Boots to Suits" program, slated for July 19, which is designed to help military veterans in their search for employment.

  Dr. Sylvia Lafair, President of Creative Energy Options, elaborates on some of the more common workplace personalities, and ways we can use this information to increase productivity and happiness.(Part 1, Part 2)

Emma Scott, Director of Illusions Community Club, speaks about the history of "June-teenth" and its relation to Black Music, in honor of June's designation as Black Music Month.

Nancy St. Claire, Chief Operations Officer for "Give an Hour," talks about her organization's efforts in helping soldiers with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder issues.

And later, Fayetteville State University's Assistant Professor of Theater, Jeremy Fiebig, along with Staci Graybill, actor and stage manager, as well as actor Tony Tambasco share their enthusiasm about the Sweet Tea Shakespeare Theater Company's Summer performances at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden.

  Dr. Andrew Ziegler, Jr., Chair of the Department of Government Studies at Methodist University and spokesperson for the Institute for Community Leadership, and recent ICL graduate Jasmine Coleman visit the studio to discuss civic leadership and participation by way of the Fayetteville-Cumberland County ICL.

Later, we speak with Judy Klink, Executive Director of Better Health, about an upcoming free dental clinic coordinated by North Carolina Missions of Mercy.
